Dear All

I have auditioned the LS50 yesterday and they sound great. However, I found that I wanted some more bass in them. The guy in the shop suggested the Rell T-7 and T-9 sub to be connected in parallel. Any ideas?

Furthremore I would also like to knoa what speaker stands are most appropriate. I am currently looking at;

Custom Design FS104 Signature, Partington Super Dreadnought and Partington Ansa 60.

Latsly which hifi amps would you suggest for them?

Any input is welcome.

Thanks

my friend has a pair of the kef LS50 , very nice speakers. never heard them with the Rel subs before

His wife did not like the idea of two big subs in the living room , so he used a pair of atohm furtive subs in black

these can be wall mounted or floor mounted , 300wpc class D amps , for amps he used a croft acoustics pre & power , valve/tube hybrids with partington dreadnoughts

or if your budget can stretch , track 600mm stands are supposed to be a good match. more than the LS50 in fact , they come in black or silver

yes he wanted more low end , there is bass & one note plodding bass

use stirling broadcast LS3/5a myself on my small desktop set up , nothing below 80hz but what bass it has is truly superb

about the same price as the kef LS50 but different league in sound

try and get a listen to these giant killers
