Saw the trailer for Isle of Dogs while waiting for that awful Black Panther movie.
The animation looks incredible and the script sounds very impressive from the trailer.

Wes Anderson meets Studio Ghibli.

I want to see it. Usually I enjoy Wes Anderson films. They all have a feel to them, and do something different for you than other films.

We will see if he sticks to his no smiling policy in this one... hard to tell with a non-real life actor film trailer.

We went to see Isle of Dogs today. The movie has great ratings on Rotten Tomatoes from critics and audiences.

Well...I fell asleep during the movie. My wife poked me so I didn't miss too much.

Clever idea, lots of big names associated with the film, animation was well done but...it just wasn't for me.

I saw it last night on Blu. I'm a fan of Wes Anderson's flicks.
It's cool art animation and humor. But, I'm going to need a revisit or two for full appreciation. Some films are like that, including this one.
