I have had to research this question a number of times so I thought I put the answer here for everyone :). Question is regarding the import duty for various electronics (or other items) into US. Here is the government document stipulating the fees. Every time I go looking for it, takes me an hour to find it!

For example, "vintage" tape recorders are completely exempt so go ahead and import that R2R! :)

The document can be hard to read. The key data is in tables and you have to find a general description of what you are looking for.

Should this be a sticky?
