I am looking for a music streamer

A custom C.A.P.S. Server with a dedicated external linear power supply providing independent power to the motherboard and the internal SSD would be a very good choice as I feel it will compete with your big dollar servers if not better them. It would be will below your budget. Only issue you have to have some technical knowledge to configure one. Below are images of my server setup. The player app is JRiver v20.

Where is the SotM USb card in this CAPS? It looks like it is connected to motherboard USB.

Taters, Ping me if you consider going down this path. I have a CAPS 3.0 Zuma with Red Wine Audio Battery power, that I'm planning to sell. I'll be listing it here shortly.

No need as I’m extremely satisfied with the USB implementation.

What about the new Auralic Aries? The price is very good. And CA review is great. Around $1500.

I appreciate it but I really need to go through a dealer. When it comes to digital I need someone to hold my hand.

I got an Aurender N100. Price lower than the x100, but needs NAS. Recommended by my dealer over the X100 for having a better power supply.
