I’ve lost the locking pieces on both my D Lin’s Silver Bullet 4.0 audio interconnect cables. How to replace them?

I’m so upset that I’ve lost the locking pieces on my pricey Silver Bullets. I can’t find the manufacturer, D Lin, with a Google search. Is there any way to replace these pieces? I think my cables are worthless without them.

Don’t think you can replace them unless you buy another set of them.

Silver Audio ( former D Lin) is not in operation anymore as far as I understand.
You could buy a new set of plugs with locking barrels. In best case, the barrels on the new plugs have the same threads as the old ones. Worst case, you would have to replace the old plugs with the new ones. It is possible that the old ones are WBTs.
If you want to go "threadless", have a look at the AECO RCA connectors over at PartsConnection.com.

As you can already see how the cables are connected, as previous advice buy replacements from any one of numerous manufacturers of which WBT and Furutech are two of the more common excellent quality manufacturers and rebuild them yourself, they may even improve in quality

Thank you for the names of several companies where I can get started in trying to repair them! I’ll give it a try.

Here is a pic I found. Your connectors are probably WBT-0147.

I took a photo of the cables. It looks like they match the attachment in Whistleraudio’s message. The writing on the connector says “made by WBT Germany”. I’ve written an email with photos to WBT-USA in hopes I can get replacements. I hope so!!

You may be lucky and get the barrels only. If not you can always upgrade them to newer models which sound much better.

But here’s my naivety showing….I have a feeling replacing the entire connector is not a DIY sort of project.

I have not heard back from WBT-USA.
