Hi, All;
My name's Jeff and I've been an avid music lover since I was 5. I became an audiophile at the age of 13, when my uncle returned from Vietnam and gave me a Philco Quad stereo. My quest for accurate sound reproduction has endured to this day. I have studied percussion and played drums for the last 35 years. I am also a passable guitar and bass player.
I became aware of this forum through a post on the Planar Asylum that referenced Ethan Winer's presentation at AES. I was comfortable with his approach, which involves both listening and science to help achieve truer sound reproduction.
I've read a lot of posts on this forum, and it seems like a place I'd enjoy spending some time associating with. Thanks for the great forum!
