Thank you, flez007! I like lots of genres, but can consistently listen to classic rock (The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Mellencamp, etc); today's rock; 90's alternative; jazz (and some blues); classical; and believe it or not - some rap.
My system is currently more geared towards HT. I have a 5.1 series from a manufacturer called AAD (American Acoustic Development) aka Phil Jones Pure Sound. It's their M Series. I run that through a Yamaha AVR and then power the fronts with a Bryston 4B SST2. The amp is on a Running Springs Audio Duke, and my cabling is WireWorld. As always, it's a work in process.
I have not been to GC, although, I have really been meaning to. I see pop up as the primary audio dealer here in town. I have been to Bjorn's, which does carries a few nice brands and have some good setups.
It's nice meeting you here, Wardsweb. It is always neat running into people who are geographically close. Maybe we can search out some other fellow San Antonians or even Texans and organize a get-together.
I am indeed a RM fan. I just finished the series when setting up my account and thought it would be cool to pay it homage. Are you a fan?
Welcome Sean. Don't visit Wardsweb's house unless you want to walk into one room and say, " I wish I had that system", then walk into another room and say, "I wish I had that system", then walk into another room and say, "I wish I had that system". Well, you get the point.

Thank you for the warm welcom, Steve, I really appreciate it. That is too funny. I will say that at this point in my audio career, I have can say that for most systems I see... But I have enjoyed and continue to enjoy my quest, as I'm sure we all have and do.
