Have you heard all your LP'S ?

ive listened to all my LPs now and in the past. The good thing about starting over is i wont be reacquiring music on vinyl that i never cared for or outgrew, no matter how important the music or on whos prestigous list it graces. im now only collecting a handful of classic rock/folk/blues albums that still hold my attention the majority are classical and jazz albums i miss the most.

all i need are a few thousand GREAT records that ill play more that two three or more times. ill never go back to the several thousand i once had.

Hello, Shaffer. This is a bit off topic from the original post but I did just that the other day. Bought a CD for stupid silly cheap on Amazon. When I opened it up, it looked like it had never been played.

Hi, Tom. Not too long ago, in a thread on SHF, a few folks were saying how buying a CD on Amazon for $8-$10 (storing the contents on their HDDs) and then selling the disc for ~$5 is significantly less expensive than paying for the download. I've noticed the same as you; many of the used CDs look new.

I have a few under 2000 CDs and have listened to every single one of them...more than once.

I'm now reminded of a place where I occasionally bought used CD's for a few bucks. I think I'll drop by today and see what they have. Of course, this will be on my way to Sunrise Records, whereby I'm hoping they have a vinyl copy of RS/MW-Checkerboard Lounge! :D
