Grimm Audio MU2 "Major Dac"

On the K50, I mostly prefer Squeeze only in terms of sound quality, but for user expirience, I also have Roon-Lifetime and HQplayer license.

What could I expect with the switch to the MU2 in terms of sound quality?
Better, worth or Just different?
atb, Tom
Hi Tom,

pretty different DAC architecture and sound signature, but I'm not such a big Soulnote fan (not my sounding, nothing against the brand!).

As I use in my other chain Antipodes K22 G4 with Ideon Audio ION DAC: highly different, much more clinical and brutal precise details, which I also many times prefer. Can I listen to this combi 8h? NO, with Grimm? YES

Having Grimm MU2 now for 1.5y, not leaving my house, period....and I'd many....

P.s.: mythos Squeeze sounds better over roon, I only can smile anymore. It's a matter how a vendor implements roon core properly (Antipodes came from a different route ;-)

Happy testing!
Gerald
