I never knew what a beast of a band he had! This is 17 minutes of introductions and short solos worth watching. The drummer Ronnie Tutt...Damn!
This is very near the end for Elvis and it shows but even in his pain he delivered 100%.
Never be another one.

Elvis looked so sick, especially in his eyes that he could of dropped dead on stage. Even then, his voice was like an angel from out of this world.

On a side note, the fashion of the mid to late 70's was beyond bad

Even in agonizing pain in heavily drug induced pain struggling with internal demons (previous video) he still delivered on stage.
Check this video of him only 5 years earlier singing one of my favorite gospel tunes.
Big change in only 5 years.

Gets me in the feels every time.

Ronnie Tutt played the drum solo on one side of the Sheffield drum album.
He was a beast!

James Burton is an absolute monster… one of the end all be all greatest ever! Having said that give me his early band with Scotty Moore, DJ Fontana, and Bill Black on the doghouse bass… can you say “Mystery Train”!?!

Elvis bass player was not too bad either. I think he was a sessions player. I believe he played on the Doors LA Woman.
