Lampizator and Riviera combination is special!

So true. Both brands combine technical achievements and musical expressiveness very well.

I rememeber a conversation I had with Luca Chiomenti from Riviera Labs, who told me about his painstaking listening tests to select and match every single component of his electronics, down to the last resistor. And Lucasz described a similar approach in his introductory interview about the Horizon development.

Giuseppe at Diesis shares this approach, where a solid design principle, its thorough execution and verification by measurements are only the beginning of the journey to make the heart and soul of the music to come through.

Ultimately, these are to be treated as musical instruments.

The Aura seem to be especially fond of brass instruments ...

Listening to this right now and the combination of tone weight, warmth, ease of projection, dynamics, detail retrieval is mesmerizing.

Thanks! I am happily using a Riviera Labs AIC-10 integrated at the moment.

I am going to evaluate oth.er options in the future though, higher power Riviera Labs for example.

Why do you have Dipoles hugging a wall? Seems like the wrong speaker for your setup.

It might be the camera shot I took that makes the loudspeakers seem closer to the wall.

After some tuning, I ended up with the upper woofer at about 110cm from the front wall, actually.

The Riviera Labs APL1 and AFS32 just came in for review. I am super curious about how this combo compares to the cub of the Riviera family :)

I'm considering this exact combination to add to my AIC-10. Do you have any initial impressions of the APL1 and AFS32? I am considering this to power some Wilson Audio The Watt Puppy speakers. Currently have an Aries Cerat Kassandra II Reference as the DAC, so hoping this would be a synergistic setup.

First impressions are very good, the combo retains the house sound of the AIC-10 I love, while elevating speed, transparency and contrast. As for the power reserve, it is way overkill in my system.
