Dexter Resurrection

Without question, the original Dexter series remains one of my all-time favorites and one that always we lookedforward to, and it never ceased to produce goosebumps on our back to watch Dexter‘s escapades. It was sad to watch it to come to an end and inevitably the ending truly proved that Dexter was over. Last year, Michael, C Hall and his genius resurrected the series and created Dexter the Original Sin. This is a prequel, showing Dexter in his younger ears and how he rises to become a serial killer. The Original Sin was certainly worth watching, and was very good, but certainly not excellent like the original Dexter

Well, lo and behold, the creative genius of Michael C Hall emerges once again as he takes control of the Dexter’s series and creates Dexter Resurrection. The first two episodes aired on July 11 and I have to say that if you’re a Dexter fan this is once again Dexter at its very best. I won’t announce any spoilers as to how rRsurrection gets started, but the first half of season one episode one creates short little vignettes which ties everything together to get the story started. In essence, Dexter remains very much alive and is now off to find his son who shot him and left him for dead. There are many cameos in the first episode and I have to say that if you’re a Dexter fan, this is not to be missed. It was truly exciting and I look forward to episode three because this is one series that in my mind is going to prove to be excellent.

Not to be missed

Even Battista is back with cameos by many of the main characters (John Lithgow and Jimmy Smits) who were featured each season and ended up on Dexters kill table.

Uma Thurman is also in the show and she is one mean woman

Episode 3 is now available and shows the resurrection of Dexter doing what he does best.

Somehow I feel Batista might become Dexter’s Achilles heel

And Dexters son has become a chip off the old block

If you are a Dexter fan this is must see

Ive watched every Dexter Episode over all these years and hands down this weeks episode of Resurrection was the best one I have ever seen. It leaves you with goose bumps and the cast tonight was simply amazing. Truly, to all Dexter fans, this season is a must watch

The Dexter: Resurrection cast talks about the return of the killer series and resurrecting everyone’s favorite serial killer

The cast this year is shockingly good

In contrast to the rather disappointing episode last week, episode 6 is a thrilling ride from beginning to end! A few highlights without revealing too much, two murders, one of which might turn out to be in Harrisons favor, Lt Miami has spilled the beans but faces yet another setback and a super cliffhanger I never saw coming!

Lt Battista knows too much. This is going to somehow affect the ending or the ending of Lt Battista

The Gemini murderer was a shocking twist

Wow this series is brilliant. Best of Dexter along with season 3 and 4 from the original series.

I totally agree. The cast is amazing and I thought episode 4 of this present season was the best episode of all Dexter seasons. It was brilliant

Another great episode with a kill in front of an audience, Dexter and Harrison going to Criminology College and Lt Miami getting a severe warning.

The tracks chosen are crazy. In episode 4 when he is going up to the party with Uma Thurman, the “my heart goes badoom badoom badoom” song was extremely apt.

When lady vengeance goes into the bar to pick her prey, the song was pussy liquor and the lyrics were perfect for the situation (“ One, two, three, who should I kill? Every m@f@r running up the hill”)

Yesterday they had some song that Satan is my name.

Gus must be doing a lot of research to find music that suits

I still have to say that if the series is to continue beyond this season, LT Batista needs to be neutralized in some way as he has put the entire story out there to the NYC lieutenant

dont spoil it as it doesnt drop over here for another few hours

well the season finale was as good as it gets. For me as a Dexter series lover this season proved to be the very best. So many big names in cameo roles. It could only end one way and sadly my prediction proved correct but as a result it allows for Dexter Resurrection to have a season 2. I’m glad they cancelled Dexter...the original sin. It just wasn't the same. Michael C Hall in this role just continues to make it better and better and always finds a way to reinvent himself in the role. Looks like Miami is now NYC and we now have Harrison in the mix

Loved it past and now , great casting makes the show . Urma the man is an extraordinary actress . Did you notice she said a line from another movie , think it was pulp fiction but maybe wrong .
I worked on uma s brothers house in Brooklyn .
She is a standout address love her movies , my super x girlfriend shows her talent to me .

She made that movie and her childhood friend Eddy izzard .

I liked episode 9. I did not like 10, quite ordinary. Dexter is best even there is a lot of sarcasm and wit especially in his self reflection dialogues with his dad. They had zero in the last episode, just trying to force it to its conclusion
