These drones are all over the news here. Police departments have been purchasing them, and there has been a bit of debate about how effective they are. Most of the criticism seems to be directed at their reliability, given they have a propensity to crash into trees, tall buildings, bridges, and power poles - basically anything that sticks out of the ground which isn't indicated on their mapping software. It would be interesting to see how Amazon gets around that problem.

Yeah they've talked about using drones to replace delivery boys too for take out food. Nice! Don't have to tip a drone.

Best part is that all the vices will probably pick it up first especially your local drug dealer. Can you imagine calling up your dealer and having your baggie of pot in 30 mins. Or living next door to a dealer and wondering why there's all these drones flying under your window?

If you buy downloads, they may even be faster than drones.

It will indeed get quite busy in the air , i foresee drone traffic rules / police and intercepter drones from competing businesses taking out the competition :D
Anyway if you go for a walk in the city , you gonna have to look up as well for safety:D

In holland they use them among other things to search for big illegal weedgrow areas, as it is quite a profitable business , some operate professional halls with thousands of plants with automatic watersystems and continous lighting(heat ) , they fly the drones with heatseeking cameras and catch the operations that way
What do police do with them?
