The horn put lower for 'hifi ' listening makes sense, though the top part of the open baffle would show a gap and hence my doubt, in both Bionor versions (1 versus two midrange horns) the midrange was mounted in the top board.

klangfilm uses the length of the tweeter's spherical wave horn to ensure that bass and treble drive are at the same level (depth). so that the sound hits your ear evenly at the right time. If you put the horn driver further forward, you have to work with a digital delay, otherwise it sounds modest. For home use, there is an acoustic lens for the horn. it ensures perfect omnidirectional behavior of the tweeter over short distances.

Compare Eurodyn and Bionor driver distances, both use the
same mid/tweeter driver and horn and the same crossover.

The acoustic lens was introduced for cinema, but can be
advantageous at home also.

Of course, both have the same crossover, the same drivers are used (later models are different). The big difference: Bionor puts a horn in front of the bass and Eurodyn doesn't. If the tweeter was deeper in the bass horn I wouldn't have said anything. the second photo looks better apologies post#180
