I drank some Kool-Aid and jumped off a cliff and bought some cable elevators. Here are the ones I bought:

I bought 16 of them and thought I would give them a whirl. If I think I wasted my money, I will report back. If I think they improved the sound, I will report back. Either way, be prepared to put on your bovine excreta detector and wade through what I have to say. I will call it as I see it-good or bad. I remember back during the Iron Age when Enid Lumley wrote for TAS and she was a 1000 years ahead of most modern day tweakers. Enid was suspending her speaker cables off the floor using string to hold them up long before cable elevators were a gleam in an audio huckster's eye. Enid was also into the AC wiring and polarity correctness long before anyone thought we should have $500 receptacles.
I guess I decided to take the plunge last night after seeing the video that Peter B. posted of the ultimate tweaker, the guy from Maple Shade. Hell, maybe all of those people who claim the sound improves are onto something (or on something). The worst they can do is help clean up your cable runs.
