"93,000$" Spectacular !

Continue to enjoy your outstanding setup, ! "93k" ! No wonder you are so proud and enjoying it and thinking that your gear is the BEST in the world !

Want to know something,
I also agree with you... :)
well I never said it was the best in the world It's pretty damn good though but yeah it's taken me 40 years to get here, if you want to see a picture of it go to audiogon forums and punch in Zeusman in the search and then when it comes up just click on my name and it'll show you a picture and then a description of all my equipment.

The most important thing is the "journey" and the insights from it.

regarding the "description of all your equipment" you have, I've already seen it,

regarding pictures,

I believe you.

Keep enjoying good music...

Have you heard the new SIM audio 861? I highly doubt that the Pilium will be better because of the new circuitry that they've developed. this is the only a/ab amp that I know of that uses no global or local feedback on the market right now.
I've owned both. I went from Simaudio 861 to Boulder 1160 in my system. The Boulder, to me, is far more natural and has significantly more control in the bass. The Boulder seemingly has endless power reserves.

The one area where the Simaudio excelled was in the new remote that comes with the 891 Preamp, best remote control ever.

Interesting. I have heard great things about Pilium. Definitely heard Boulder a few times.

I am no techie. I believe Robert Koda does not use any feedback loops. Class A amps, low distortion.

From their website:

“In the Takumi K-160, that uncompromising approach is in things like it only uses N-type (or NPN) transistors; no Positive-Negative-Positive transistor are allowed into the Koda Clubhouse. Of course, with all those years learning from Kondo-san the Takumi K-160 has no negative feedback (local or global).”

I am wondering about a point i find very critical, which is the fuses and the powercords, arent mentioned here. Imho its very importen to have the fuses changed to ultra highend on these nice components. The power cords are then another option to finetune the amps to the system including the room.
I also miss some information on the volumen at which the components are supposed to perform because i would tune the sound very differently upon lysning at realistic levels ( loud, eg in a dedicated large music room) or at moderate levels ( in a flat in a relative small room)

Keep your R Koda

High end audio in general / reviewers / magz mistake amplifier control over a LS as some sort of the ultimate sound requirement it seems these days

Pilium can be included in the list , nothing special to my ears
Controlled unmusical .
