Boulder 866 & Roon Volume Control

Does anybody else have problems with controlling the volume of the 866 while using the Roon App on your iPhone? I cannot get the volume to go up or down using the app. I get a message saying "Volume fixed" or something akin to that. I contacted Boulder and they said it was an issue with Roon. I have the latest firmware updates. Just a pain to have to use my phone for track selection and the Boulder remote for volume control when using Roon.
