Dears,
I’m going to add a external DAC a to my Vitus SCD and to use it as a transport for a while.

But to connect the two I need to use SPDIF - rca.
As I don’t have such a cable, and no experience with digital cable, I was looking for some advice?

you’ll see from my signature that I’ve got both feet inside the cable rabbit hole, and know that they make a surprising difference, but I have less confidence that a digital coax cable (I guess SPDIF cable is a 75ohm digital coax?) really makes as much of an impact.....

As always your thoughts are appreciated....

thks

A spidif cable does not need to be expensive but it does need to be to specs. I think others here know more there is a min length and max as well.
the correct imp is BNC to Match best , it might better to buy a cable with bnc and use adapters.
bluejeans makes good affordable interconnects . They use name brand wires. I have plenty of there stuff.
