I have This Zyx,VDH Grand Cru and Master Signature,Opus 1,Goldfinger Statement,Atlas Lambda SL,Koetsu Coralstone Diamond,Benz Special,Ortofon Spu 95 and Kondo IO XP

and for me this Zyx is the best among these cartridges, every cart has something special,Grand Cru the mid high,Lambda has dynamic, goldfinger is explosive,Opus special mid bass and Holographic,Coralstone very natural mid,and this Zyx is very good in everything

Are you referring to Pietro’s zyx ultimate diamond or different

I have . . . Benz Special . . .

Dear Gian,

I was not aware Benz-Micro made any new flagship cartridge after the LP-S MR. What is a “Benz Special”?

May I ask, if somebody has made investigations if either FR-64s or FR-66s is the btter matching tonearm with Olympos, respectively Olympos SL?
Thanks in advance.
for a heavy fr 66s i would recommend ikeda or takeda myabi cartridge. I heard it was excellent. sounded nice musically, very high dynamic.

So for Olympus the FR-64s is a better matching due to the lower effective mass (?)!
i think so, you can of course use a light headshell from the fx tonearms so you can influence the effective mass very stable aluminum headshell
i would rather take cartridges that have a low compliance >8.
Myabi have new carts fuuga

I also think Fuuga is a very good all rounder and mates very well with a 4-point.

Thanks!
FR64s and 66s do like the Yamamoto Titanium head shells, unfortunately the Lyra body does not like Titanium Headshell too much,
I liked on Etna Lamda the Acoustical System Arche headshell in light weight raw Magnesium on a heavy arm (Ikeda 407)

Has anyone auditioned the new ZYX exceed series?

I’m happily using the XYZ ultimate 4D with carbon cantilever, great bass but I find it a bit lean compared to my Miyajima Destiny

One that is missing from the list that I recently bought is the Allaerts MC2 Formula 1. I have about 250 hours on mine now, I still have my Goldfinger Statement (have a second head shell for my 4 point).

Hi @amadeus,
What is the Zyx Sarasrto? Do you mean Astro?

Any experience with additional mono cartridges besides the Sumile?
