Best audiophile switch

The Switch X is the most advanced switch I've heard. And stacked Switch X's are even better.
The Switch X (and corresponding WiFi X for control) is a fantastic product. One was jaw dropping, and two stacked was a material improvement.

What was the previous setup before adding this?

Very keen to know your comparison of the Farad 3 vs 6.

You use OePhi power cables with the Naim gear? How are they? You must be one of the few here to have that brands power cables.
I have a 272/555PS DR and use Nordost QB8/Heimdall 2 on it.
When I get to test one or probably two of them I will revert. One for the S100 itself and one for its clock.

OePhi. I am very pleased with them. Huge upgrade from Vertere ReLine and Naim Powerline.

Why I ended up with OePhi? One of my Swedish friends got the opportunity to try them at home. He has a Naim 500 setup and more or less a complete setup of Chord Music cables and a few Sarum T not in use which he also used as reference. At that time the IMMANENCE was the top of the OePhi line. My friend conclusion was that Immanence was slightly better than Sarum T. Not a lot but with a price 30% lower.than the Sarum T it’s very interesting. The Chord Music was clearly better than the Immanence. Logic as the Music was close to 3 times more expensive.

I started with one Immanence for my Chord M6 PowerHaus thereafter i bought three of their new top of the line Reference power cords. They give a neutral clear sound. Huge difference from the old power cords. Expensive but worth it. When money is available I want to try their Reference loudspeaker cables. Unfortunately I need 7 meter……

Stacking Paul Pang, Edison Creation, EtherRegen and Buffalo switches in myriad combinations, with various optical isolation approaches (Sonore towards the end) and LPSs (mostly Ferrum, Sonore and Hynes). I never found a combination that was really impressive.

I also tried a gaggle of filters in various places, settling mostly on those from DJM. I’m currently running stacked Switch X (with WiFi X as the control point) with no filters while I get the hang of it and make other changes to my setup.

Upstream is Ubiquiti for whole house with my listening room configured on a dedicated subnetwork.

Thanks for sharing the link. I’m only 30 minutes into it but am struggling to continue. The interviewers are asking questions that could be answered by anyone who has had success assembling a musically satisfying streaming-based system. No questions yet about what NA is doing that makes their products so well regarded. Grrr.
I posted the only video I know of featuring the designers of the switches we’ve been discussing here, so for now it’s the best we’ve got! Perfect? Surely not. Too long? Definitely, I did warn you :)
But judging by the people who did watch and found it useful, it seems worth sharing. Hopefully we’ll see more interviews with switch and audio network designers in the future. The more perspectives, the better.

I believe I thanked you for sharing it. My complaint was only about how the interview was conducted. Had those guys been interviewing those who discovered the cure for cancer, I’d imagine their first question might have been “what advice do you have for someone who has a bad cold?”.

Thanks for the summary. I had asked Copilot to provide a transcript but it couldn’t do that. Not sure if YouTube provides such a capability but it seems like it would be a killer feature when it comes to videos such as that one where the hosts enjoy hearing their own voices a bit too much.
Just use https://notebooklm.google/ and you get an excellent summary to any YouTube video - and you can also ask specific questions.

I went from the former L2 (which is now the L2 classic) to the current L2 silver / copper and was very much astonished how mich of an improvement there is! (The Super6 will reveal even more so than the Super3). So definitely a great DC cable, if you prefer silver or copper is depending on your personal preference.

Fair enough, we all have our preferences when it comes to interview style :)
Personally, I’m just glad to finally see the people behind best audiophile switch designs on camera.
Maybe next time they’ll bring in someone with your interviewing standards to lead the discussion. ;)

I'm happy to go on camera if someone can lend me an iron to get these wrinkles out of my face. Until then, I'm happy to post and to blog... and if you saw the alternative, you might thank me!

Maybe cut him some slack as it was a tough challenge to concoct a narrative in favor of the inane questions asked during the first 30 minutes of that interview. The only option he had was to play the star stuck teenager who was just so overjoyed at seeing the faces of those who created the bestest switch like ever. :)

Whatever you say…..my comment had nothing to do with an interview.

Hi
It looks like that the dejitterit products are an off the shelf switch and WiFi unit smartly configured and probably modified sw. Is that correct? The NA and Xact switches are built from the ground up, hardware and the software configuration configured for audio use.
Has the switch x been reviewed in comparison to other audio switches?
While they use the off the shelf chassis (for cost effectiveness) the inner workings and added power supply are anything but. The noise sensing and noise cancelling circuits are unique and very effective. The internals of the switch have separate and isolated clean and dirty sections.
