two months from now?

We could try something "formal" and get a room for an hour or so - to discuss what?? Ideas??

Two years ago I gave a presentation on reel tape - for "newbies". Don't think we need that now - but??

I'll be there and game.

I'm game as well..

Hey Myles / Bruce,

You'se guys could both contribute something - about your tape "experiences". A few minutes each. Shameless plugs encouraged!

I'd be honored but you guys are the pros. Is Ki coming to RMAF? Think it would be nice to have others like Paul or Dan, Greg Beron or some others like the boys from UltraAnalogue etc. these are just off the top of my head and maybe others have additional suggestions.

I would like to attend and learn.

If my spouse and I were going, I would certainly attend...if not simply to say Hi to people :)

Feel free to do it in our room. We will have a Ampex ATR-102. Bruce should be around as well.

Guys,

Marjorie can get me a room and some "advertising" along with the other seminars - even tho I'd like to think of this as a "forum" - with others "helping" to present stuff.

Thanks Jonathan for the invite to listen - let's make that an "extra" event.

Should I go forward?

Big YES here! Why not make it an annual event like a "small" cans show.

Marjorie just emailed me and said we can have a room @12:30 on Friday for our "informal" forum. You guys game? I'd like to see some participation from others - Myles could you recount your tape experience - Bruce talk about software availability. Ki talk about Studers?? I could highlight what's needed to get into the "hobby" for the newbies (again) but don't want to carry all the burden.

Your thoughts

How about a demonstration of how to safely demag your tape deck and recommended demaggers?

Your thoughts

- EQ curves differentiation
- Necessarily maintenance tips
- tape/music sources - opinions (brief)
- parts supply options

still thinking....

Is there any new information on this event? As someone new to R2R, I would really like to attend. Thank you.
