I have done that for a few titles ... t ...e...d...i...o...u...s ... I quickly gave up ... I can understand the reluctance though ... With the liner notes in digital format piracy would have taken another level ..however bad it already is ...
It is one big problem for classical music servers - for me the liner notes are mandatory. I could not imagine any of my tens of Jordi Savall recordings without their extensive and high quality liner notes - e.g. the english section of the Dinastia Borgia is 40 pages long.
