16” Mac Book Pro To Launch by End of October

Apple throughout here. Family of four, each with own iphone / ipad / macbook or imac plus older models stuffed into cupboards etc. Maybe getting caught within the Apple ecosystem is a type of Hotel California however I couldn’t really conceive using other brands.

Same here.. I have 3 iPads to myself. I use them all, it’s ridiculous. One of my MacBooks is 10 years old now and still relevant and in use. iphones, Apple TV… strong currents in their ecosystem

Tbf I recently changed my 2011 iMac which has been souped up by OWC (16g ram / ssd for os / huge hdd) to an m1 iMac because that had been left behind by OS deveopment but didn’t discern much improvement for my modest usage. Similar story with the iphone 7 plus replaced by a 12 pro max, better camera / battery really. I wouldn’t necessarily sweat about the latest and greatest as it seems the hardware reached a degree of maturity some time ago. My 11yo gaming mad son might disagree though….
