The original LP sounds good - you can experience the delicacy of Buddy Tate’s blowing more vividly. It is hard to find a mint copy. There was a release on Discogs erroneously advertised as mono but the only recording available is in stereo. Here is the version to get, IMO: Buddy Tate - Groovin' With Buddy Tate View credits, reviews, tracks and shop for the 1964 Vinyl release of "Groovin' With Buddy Tate" on Discogs. www.discogs.com This interpretation is lovely. This is the type of track that I could listen to in a loop all day long and never get tired of listening. Last edited: Nov 26, 2025
