Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

Do you mean that if we have a two rail LPS then that itself will be a 17-18% improvement hence skipping the need for the distributor?

Or do you mean the distributor will still give 17-18% improvement in the case of a two rail LPS?

Will still give.

why don't you use the LPS that is powering your switch as it will then power the switch and router per Emile's schematic
It depends on the LPS. The Power Distributor can deliver a maximum of 10 Amps, so the LPS with which you power it must give at least that amperage. My little Super 3 Farad couldn't, my Paul Hynes puts out 12 Amps at 12 volts so it looks like it would be adequate.

You only need ~600mA, switch 100mA, router 500mA, 10A is the max load rating for the DC distributors, so you can use it with anything between 0A and 10A.

Oh, okay.
However I suppose that the fact that the Paul Hynes can deliver a maximum of 12 Amp (you say between 0 and 10) does not preclude its use. It's right?

No, it’s just the max load for connected devices, actually mainly limited by the DC socket current limit, the circuitry could handle a bit more.

Will DC cables be supplied?

Will there be a limit for voltage in? Or any voltage in is okay?

And I assume voltage out will exactly be the same as voltage in, not modifiable, correct?

From a practicality perspective, am wondering about stacking the switch, router, distributor on one shelf of my rack - how much of a bad idea is this?
You mean stack vertically right? I’m thinking the same… my rack is small.

The only problem would be sliding and scratching risks.

Bare minimum shelf size to place everything horizontally would be 17*17"

Will there be room for streaming radio in XDMS beta b?

Is there a possibility a dc distribution box could power the Extreme along with accoutrements in the future?

It can be integrated at some point in time but it's not a priority.

No.

Ok, dc distributor supplying the juice for Taiko switch and Taiko router.
Would you recommend running the non-Taiko dirty side router on the Taiko dc distributor as well?
