While researching for the best performance USB cables for my own system, I stumbled upon David Laboga Expression USB cables brand on this WBF thread:

Further online professional reviews of

DAVID LABOGA EXPRESSION EMERALD USB CABLE

indicate that it “significantly” beats all other top USB cables by a large margin and David’s Emerald USB is his “entry level cable” starting at only 429euro:

I am not in any way associated with this brand. I just want to pass this seemly fantastic find to WBF members whose posts greatly benefit my high end audio journey.

I gave this cable a trial and liked it very much. Overall, it was slightly warm, but more importantly, very musical. Anyone finding their digital system too harsh, forward or bright would do well to try it out.

In the end however, I went for an FTA Sinope as it's better and far more expensive, but not as good vfm.

DL makes some good cables. Emerald is the entry level. Has anybody heard the Sapphire or Ruby wich are levels up from Emerald?
Sapphire is retailing for about the same as Sinope.

I was using the Laboga sapphire USB in my system until trying the FTA Sinope, which beat it all-around. I still use the Laboga sapphire LAN cable and Laboga GSR speaker cables.

Hi @Redwoodaudio .
I too have the FTA Sinope, and have also auditioned the Laboga Emerald. I loved the warm tonality of the Emerald but settled with the Sinope as it beat it in pretty much every area.
However, I'm now finding my system a little bright, so am curious about the Laboga Sapphire. I accept that the Sinope might still better it, but did you experience much difference in the tonality between Sapphire and Sinope?

Sorry, I can't recall that. Made the change a few months ago. Message me directly if you'd be interested in purchasing the Laboga Sapphire USB to try out.

Anyone compared with Albedo?

I had the FTA. Still have it on a shelf. If does draw attention to itself. But after a while its too much. I want to turn it down. I ended up with an Intona. About a $1200 model. Better all around. And no fatigue. Not bright at all. But also not heavy or dark. Its just a good balances cable.
