I saw in Munich show in VDH box the new Grand Cru Elite
I asked and told me,VDH was not on show,and told me is a step over the normal grand cru
But dont understood why

Yes, it is a step beyond the Grand Cru. Mine is lower 0.35 mV output. The sonic difference is my system is more nuance. Same superb spatial information and dynamics, but a more natural presentation of nuance: the subtle expression of intent, the variations of playing, greater distinction between instruments and how the musician is playing. It reminds me more of ddk's Neuman and my vintage Technics moving magnet cartridge. The Grand Cru is a bit punchier and less subtle.

The Grand Cru Elite utilizes a different type of wood than the normal Grand Cru has. Agree with Peter, it has remarkable spatial information like the MS but in a more linear presentation especially in the upper frequency, in my opinion, the Elite still retains some of the strengths of the Grand Cru of their solidity attribute, overall it is a step beyond in the performance.
