Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

Did someone notice the SQ drop after the Roon 610 build update ?
I am very dissapinted with that happen to my system.
With the 571 build I got magical sound . Little less controlled but truly the amazing experience.
610 offers better control annd precision but the magic is gone .
this is mainly by using the 610 remote.
In my other computer I still have the 571 remote so I can survive on that till the TAS comes.
Is there any way of getting back to the 571 core or / and to 571 remote builds ?

This sounds great to me.
It is very encouraging .
as far as I know there is no difference except of recommended jumbo frame size
but lets check if all is defult and there was no accidental change that might be affecting the SQ .

610 bass more focused and deeper bass over 571 for me. Dynamics greater....

again what I see it is more precise for sure , better focuse and control.
the only thing lost is the magic in terms of air and spece reproduction.

New member, first post. I guess it was this thread that convinced me to order an Extreme a few weeks back, and which caused me to sign up as a new member here, after lurking on several topics over the last couple of years. From all I've read, I'm expecting great things when it arrives and I hook it up via USB to my Lampizator Pacific. My current system reference is ~2015 minted Antipodes DX II, and I have been itching for an upgrade to it, considering Antipodes CX+EX combo or Innuos Statement, among others. This thread got me to jump off the cliff for the "whole enchilada", as it were. You guys better be right! ;-)

I'm not the world's biggest fan of digital, but even I can gauge from my two sessions with Extreme is that it's a landmark product. I think you can rest easy.

It took me 3 days to get up the courage to push the update button even though Emile said it was OK. My update was positive socially but not by a huge margin

610 bulid is great now.

Personal thanks to Emile who was so kind to review my extreme Settings.
He found few things that for some reason were incorrect.
Correcting it cerated amazing atmoshere again.
Fantastic service and great people at Taiko Audio !

He forgot to mention that further performance gains can be achieved by using Sablon's King power cable Am getting the siltech triple crown soon - will see if that gives a further boost in performance. Whats money when you can enjoy nirvana right haha

Amongst all flagship grade (and most expensive) audiophile powercords, the Siltech Teiple Crown is one of the most highly regarded in Hong Kong.

When looking at the hifi sonic performance, it scores nearly full marks in all aspects.
However IMHO its house sound is so strong that putting one or two of it into an audio system will create a "Siltech audio system", so both the Double Crown & Triple Crown are not my cup of tea.

Anyway it's fun trying one. Pls share your audition experience with us.

The other day I went down to Adelphi here in Singapore, this is the go to place for all things AV here in Singapore, just to take a look at the Siltech Cable. They look so beautifully crafted and well engineered. I would love to hear them one day.

In Korea, Siltech is like religion.

But

My customers never use their products, especially CROWN Series~!!!!!!

When I use Triple Crown with SGM Extreme, Extreme's bass sound was vanished.

Siltech Triple Crown and SGM Extreme are terrible~!!!!!!!!!

Like pictures, one customers removed all Siltech cables and installed all Entreq cables and darTZeel 108 model one. (They are mine.)

i am getting hooked on the siltech stuff - the sound they produced are quite so musical. I am actually simplifying my set up dramatically where it will be extreme to msb select to m 1.1 amps to m3 speakers. it will be a simple setup where i hope removing al lthe 'fluff' in between will give me the best enjoyment. will update as i go for sure

A trick on Triple Crown to share with you :
They are super-heavy & super-stiff and can drag onto the attaching components or even damage its own plugs or the receiving sockets of the components.

One solution is to use cable supports such as the Furutech NCF Boosters.

The racks of a friend of mine don't have space for Furutech NCF Boosters so he employed 3D-printing to make the following gadgets and they worked perfectly. The sound seemed to have improvement too!





These are for his Triple Crown xlr ic but the same principle can be applied on Triple Crown pc too.
