Micro...your turn :)

Mine are also twins. The serial numbers are stamped on the crates, but they are now boxed and the LL1's are on top ... I think 10015 and 10016, but I have to check on the documentation.

Really???
I seriously doubt that
The S/N’s on my ML3 are
G10017 and G10018

The S/N for my LL1 are J10007 and J10008

My preamplifier is J10013 and J10014. Vladimir fitted new sockets when he checked it, as well of some LL1.1 parts.

Does anyone know how can we append new posts in a classified thread? I had several requests about the SRA stands and their characteristics.

those are the numbers i recall.

Mike or ALF,
Do you remember if there was any difference between the stands for the power supplies and the amplifiers? As far as I can see they are the same.

The same, interchangeable.

Thanks. Although Lamm ML3's owners did not feel any interest on the SRA's, some ML2.x owners have questioned me on them. As the amplifiers have the same footprint, probably I will split the set in two pairs, creating two different happy owners!

And probably increasing your profit ;)

Sorry, they are not the same; definitely not interchangeable...they are tuned and labeled specifically for different ML3 machines. One for the power supply unit and the other one for the amplifier.

Also, they are not built for the ML2.x amplifiers...simply, not a fit.

Interchangeable, not at all...

Alan, you know better than me.

as i recall, all 4 looked identical and there were no markings on them or the boxes they were packed in relative to the amp or power supply designation. Bob was using them for other gear, as he had never unpacked the ML3's. i paid for Bob to have the UPS store pack the stands.

and from what i could tell, the power supply and amps each had the same footprint and weighed a similar amount. but maybe there was a different tune spec for one verses the other? it's possible.

Yes, there is a different tune spec for the psu and amplifier units...that is the SRA way :).

The top plates are the same for the footers for both units, as they are designed with the same layout by Lamm.

Mike, I hope that you did not get them mixed up...it would make a qualitative difference in performance:)

Interesting. I thought about it, but they had no markings and the same weight. Besides when tapped they had exactly the same resonance so I assumed they were all similar.

So now all we can do is computing the probability that Mike and I used them correctly by chance! Anyway, most of the time I used them on my rigid floor, as I wanted to listen to them as designed by Vladimir Lamm, without tweaks!
