Pacific dac: Lampizator's new top of the line dac

PX25 I get. 242 I don't. One day I will hear it sound great. Maybe:);)

EML 45 GM is just brilliant with Luxman solid state amps. But also with other solid state and passive gear.

Golum what is the rest of your system?
Guess it’s there in my signature but here it goes Audio Research Ref75/Ref6, LDMS server with Vienna Acoustics Liszt speakers

Good stuff. Thanks to you, I have the Acme 274B incoming. I'm also thinking about giving the Acme 300B a shot since I've heard good things about it from the Line Magnetic forums.
Very much looking fw what you think!!

On a mobile where Tapatalk doesn't display it.

Cheers. Pretty sure I have never heard those speakers.

If you hold your mobile in landscape instead of portait, you should see the signatures.

I wonder how the ACNE (SCNR) 300b and 274b compare to the Takatsuki 300b and Takatsuki 274b

Unfortunately, the Tak has been sold so it will only me a comparison from memory. I've never used Tak 300bs, but I have Elrog 300bs in my amp, which weren't exceptional in the GG 2 DAC. If the Acme 300Bs are similar to their 805s, I have a feeling they will do well in the DAC.

As of today we have an additional data point regarding Tac and ACME 274b...very close actually where Tac is clear winner but ACME in the territory cost for bang is above. If you wan to squeeze last 5% of the performance you'll use Tac for rest ACME is just phenomenal. Tried in TRP today not Pacific but for Pacific I have one nice thing to try out :)44946313-F738-4190-9C30-43E81016F98A.jpeg

You need to document all these tests in a word doc!

To be honest that would be the only proper way as we did so many of those that i’m lost...and now they appear in several diff threads so it makes it even worse to follow:(

Is this ACME 274 B the top 10 % or standard version ?
How does it compare to RK 5u4g with KR PX 25 on Pac?

Could you pls explain what you meant by 10%? I guess its entirely new tube with better quality overall. Very relaxed and smooth and more forgiving than rest. I had a feeling whichever output one i plug in it just performs and with RK i did not have same feeling..and RK is more punchy and nervous somehow vs ACME

Thank you, then it’s something for me, in my system the sound with RK 5u4g has sometimes too much of attack , depending on the recording and my mood;)
I already ordered Acme 274 B, the regular price is 295 usd plus shipment but there is also the possibility to buy best of 10 % selection for 345 usd which I finally choose.
