In case of interest, I think there was great review of Vertere RG1 turntable + SG1 arm in HiFi+ a while....you can probably find it online. I would also suggest you read Roy Gregory's review of Grand Prix Audio's Parabolica turntable and Roy is also a big fan of Simplicity arm. You could probably contact Roy via The Audio Beat for his thoughts on Parabolica + Simplicity 2. Hope this helps and best of luck with your search.

Yes I read that review of RG1, will find the GP one. Thanks

You have a great system Robert Koda K15+K70+Cessaro!!!

From your list i would take AF3 Premium you can't go wrong whit it if you couple it whit a Graham Elite Arm or a Thales Arm you can forget what some has to say...

Vertere Table is very good but in my opinion to have the complete Vertere Table whit Arm PS... is not a very good price performance.

Brinkmann Balance whit the Tube Powersuply is a great table but stay away from Tonearm and Cartridge(EMT Modified) from Brinkmann.

That’s very helpful, thanks a lot! Have to admit that I’m leaning toward AF3P now, solid build, more arms, better value preservation...

There is no better value preservation unless you buy a good deal or get vintage. All new stuff depreciates.

Yes, but a Toyota probably keeps value better than a, say Fiat in the long run? ;)

Wow - congrats! Is that the new version? The power supply looks very good compared to the old one.

Thanks! Yes it’s the new Forte version, it does look more solid than the old one, will set it up on the coming Sunday.

I have a collection of needle drops created on the previous version of this table using the Lyra Atlas, and they are all very satisfying. I'll bet the newer version sounds great.

Hello Nickif,
Yes, life is full of surprises.
A frd of mine just bought an AF3 Premium :

It sits on a FFYX anti-vibration platform.
You may also notice the Soulnote phono and Thomas Meyer preamp on the lower rack level.

Please keep us posted. I've got the AMG Forte here myself waiting to be explored. I need to setup three other tables first though where I've got clients waiting - which is always a priority :).

I probably should have bought a friend's Balance, oh well. He has a Kuzma XL now as his reference that I don't prefer.

I don't either

Some update on the Forte. In short, I’m very happy with its performance. Paired with decent but not top gear i.e. Benz Gullwing cartridge, Luxman EQ500 phono, the sound is smooth, punchy with a wide soundstage.

For the first time in my life I’m now focusing on acquiring more records rather than equipment, vinyl is magic! 3AB4DDDE-0E83-462D-9580-1FFDD2EDECFB.jpeg

Fantastic. This is such an imposing table while at the same time being very elegant and understated.
