Cleaning connectors and plugs

So we've had a very productive thread on the best ways to maintain stylus condition, let's see if we can keep it going w this.

What are we all using to clean cable terminations, connectors, spades, banana plugs, plugs generally?

Products, frequency, techniques. Thanks in advance.

The signet RCA cleaning tool or for XLR, pipe cleaners, both with Caig Gold.

As my gear is new or near new, I have a very minimalist approach & just use 99.8% Isopropyl Alcohol on Q tips. For vintage gear, or if there is any sign of oxidization then i'd use something like Caig Deoxit.

I clean once or twice a year with alcohol on Q tips and then apply a very thing coat of Caig Deoxit Gold.

This product is from an Electronics store & is audio grade. It's what I use.
