Use or will use having top tonearm like Sat,EliteAxiom,Black Beauty,Durand

Why 3012 is so special?

Ian, do you have an American Sound turntable to fit your new SME arm and headshell? Are those also available on eBay?

Don't the SME head shells require you to realign the arm for each change in cartridge? Doesn't it negate the benefit of removable head shells?
It’s generally an easy process and with the gauge he has it’s a matter of minutes without involving the cartridge. Of course you use slotted headshells but they’re non-SME and can introduce unwanted coloration or character in the overall sound. I used to experiment a lot but never found the one with the same balance of the S2 for this arm.

Sounds like a need to get that gauge!

What is the difference between the 3012r and the 3012 series 1 again? As the latter is on sale in the UK
