In Hong Kong, the local Tripoint/Troy dealer always voluntarily disconnects and then reconnects the Troy groundboxes both at their showrooms during demo and at the annual AE Show to let customers know the effectiveness of their products.
Even though it really takes time to reach the optimal state after reconnection, the immediate on/off/on effect is already very convincing.
Dealers in N Am are not willing to do so?

Posted before about Tripoint compared to Entreq. Although it's not quite this simple, Tripoint has a similar additional influence to its price premium over Entreq. 5x with Troy Sig, more with Elite.

HK is a compact city and all brands of groundbox-type of gadgets are available here.
Friends and I have had numerous gatherings, directly comparing Troy Signature, Entreqs, Telos ... etc and Troy has always remained our favourite.
Certainly it's inconvenient for the local Troy dealer to perform such comparison in their showrooms or at their annual Show in open.
Yes total agreement here--as I've stated in an earlier post , I've witnessed Chris(AE) Troy(s) unplugged out/reinserted

Heard the demo of tripoints emperor at AE show room 3 years ago . All Chris did was to remove the crocodile clip connected to tonearm bass & the whole soundstage collapsed. Demoed the original Tripoints signature in my room . I have Entreq , Telos . No comparison on the effect . However if u know what is inside Tripoints you may be reluctant to pay such hefty price for it even though the effect is mind boggling
A year ago I visited Audioexotics with a few audio buddies and Chris demonstrated the effectiveness of Tripoint Empress so that he disconnected one Empress from the speaker. The loss of realism was breathtaking. We were shocked. When he reconnected the Empress back, system needed approximately 15 min. to sound the same as it did in the beginning. I did simmilar experiment with my Troy Signature. Upon disconnecting one grounding cable (from the line stage) there was an immediate and clear loss of “Tripoint magic” but it took a while to get the sound back to where it was, when I connected that cable back again. So, I would say you can easily do AB comparisons with Tripoint products and even ABA if you take the above observations into account.

I would like to mention , that the above mentioned jaw drop only comes when the higher quality ground cables like the Thor SE and such equivalent cables are disconnected . The drop in SQ will of course be milder when disconnecting the starter cables supplied . It will be heard none the less .

It seems that way Steve. RogerD also said in his thread that he does get better effect with larger size of ground cable. I refer to his experiences because he is using his own way of grounding not using Tripoint. No bias to Tripoint.

Steve Tang is right as I have no experience with any grounding boxes. In my testing over 4 or so years there is a direct correlation between the degree or size of the pathway and SQ. No doubt in my mind as I hear everyday and there is also mechanical evidence with a effect in transformer quietness and also with my dual subwoofer. In fact the system level of mechanical or electrical noise is still changing after 2 plus months after the last large strapping of my mono blocks.

No, there is signal grounding, protection grounding and mysterious grounding. The first two are well known and studied, the third one must be studied empirically with existing devices and no two people agree on the fundamental physics behind them.

This is like saying all interconnects and speaker cables are the same . I think You can relate to that.
Micro, SCIN can be mearsured. This chassis grounding is so basic in the setting up of professional recording studios...for say 65 years now. Why is it considered mysterious in the high end?? Are the considered technical experts really expert...I wonder. Everybody in this hobby much less human can discerne levels of clarity and the closeness of a object. If you hear a tambourine and it is far back in the sound field and then it continually moves forward,what happens?,more realism and it is revealed further in the reproduction. The fact is all the information is present and that's what I hear. I think some info like instrument players in the orchestra breathing in to play brass or wood winds,when this is no longer uncommon then everything comes a long with it. The totality of the information captured by the microphone is revealed. Can it get better sure or maybe,but I am at the point of happiness now and not in a hurry to go through another 400 hour burn in.

This isn’t an interconnect as best as I can tell so why can I relate to it. Your analogy imo falls short.
Many interconnect changes are secondary to coloration. Are you suggesting the ground cable is adding color
