What's Spinning Tonight?

This one is simply terrific and is a huge orchestral. Highly recommended

LZ3, I can still remember ... on 1st listen, amazed by the thundering Rock-God opening cut ... then the shock of hearing them turn Country.

Tangerine Dream...the band yes (I like their music very much), but the Zeppelin's song no.

And TBone I don't know where he is and when he'll be here next, so ::

* ...Not of all time; I was just extrapolating a little.

Ahh that was my other choice. I was on the fence. Did you hear the alternative take on the new 24/96 remaster? It's so good I'm having a hard time telling which is better.

No Mike, mine is from a simple remastered CD that I was playing (I do have few copies too on LP). And that CD doesn't sound that great, but better than the older one.

There are 144 versions of Led Zeppelin III, on various formats. The one I played was version number 37. ;-)

* Mike (Lavigne) or rockitman (Christian) might have one of the very best ones.

What I'm referring to is an unreleased more raw version of the song. It was released on the deluxe edition 24/96 download on HDtracks recently (That's the way rough mix). There's 9 never previously released versions, along with the originals on that download. Sound is also the best I've ever heard from Zeppelin. Jimmy Page helped out with the remastering I hear.

They also released deluxe edition versions of all the other albums as well. Each album has previously unreleased versions on them. Unreal!
