Can you give me (or provide a link to) information about the evolution of RoomPerfect? I last used it years ago and, while my experience with it was quite positive, my contextual references have evolved since then.

Why not start with one and then add more if/when needed?

Because more than one is almost always needed, regardless of size/power.

here is maybe the ultimate surround speaker set-up guide. way deeper than you need, but likely has the info somewhere.

overkill, but if you scan it likely you will find something relevant to what you are looking for. lots of diagrams that can be helpful for planning.

You are right. It says nothing useful or informative about the operations of RoomPerfect.

Been there. No technical information or any reference to changes/evolution of RoomPerfect since the initial release of RCS. (BTW, I was impressed both with RCS and RoomPerfect when the appeared but that was a long time ago. I reviewed RCS in 2001!)
