Lukasz Has Done It Again

It is just 3 days to the World Premiere of the Aphrodite DAC. Warsaw High End AVS2025 opens its doors on Friday morning. We are busy preparing the largest presentation on Earth - in a 320 m / 3200 ft room. Clarisys Audio speakers to the rescue. VAC monoblocks, David Laboga cables. Aphrodite takes center stage, with lampizator Neptune preamp, Lampizator Kraftwerk power conditioner, Lampizator GulfStream server.

And it’s only 10 days to the North American event at my house Oct31-Nov2
Still room for a few more. Contact me me here via PM

Looking forward to see you there!!
I'm already counting down the remaining days)

Is the new dac being shown at Capital audio show ?
Yes, I will be demoing it in a very nice system alongside Gershman Acoustic's new over-achieving Symphoria speakers.

For those attending the weekend event coming up and are staying at the Fairfield Inn, I have discovered that many are using Uber back and forth. I know there are several staying at the Fairfield who are renting cars at the airport. Might I suggest here that those who are driving and those who need rides to and from my house post here to state you can either offer rides or you need someone to drive you to and from

Everyone is planning on arriving by 0945 as Lukasz will start the day with a short presentation of the Aphrodite followed by a question and answer period. The plan is then to all go up to my sound room where I will introduce my system and from there we will break up into small listening groups and switch off until everyone has had sufficient time to listen. Lukasz and Fred will be taking turns in manning the tablet to play the music and requests are always welcomed as it is the music which to me is always the common denominator. The hope is that between 100-200 everyone will have had sufficient time for listening and then we will do an A/B between Aphrodite and Horizon. 360 and finally if there is time Lukasz im hoping will have time to roll in some NOS tubes

I am hoping when we all go upstairs that we can get a group picture of all attendees

I have reached out to everyone whose names I have on the gate list to confirm their attendance . If I missed anyone who is attending please contact me to confirm I have your name on the gate pass. I have been asked if wives can attend and the answer is "very definitely" and if you have friends you'd like to bring, of course as well.but please let me know as Im trying to get an accurate head count to be sure there is sufficient food and refreshments

For those who are looking for a place to dine on Friday evening and are staying at the Fairfield, please contact me for information about a great restaurant that is a 2 minute walk from your hotel. There are 6 of us who will be there for 800 reservations and Im sure the restaurant will have availability but you will need a reservation. so contact me for info. For those who are arriving early on Friday several will be coming to my house for an afternoon listening session from 300-600. Please contact me for further information

This is promising to be a very fun weekend and I'm amazed that 90% of the guest are coming from everywhere but California and we have two international attendees as well

Hi,
I’m attending the Lampi Aphrodite event next weekend. I’m staying at the Fairfield Inn. I thought some of the attendees might like to exchange phone numbers so we could share rides etc. If someone rented a car I’d be glad to hitch a ride and help subsidize the rental if you’d like. I’d rather do that instead of paying UBER.

I’m not sure if listing phone numbers would be ok here or if we should just message each other through the website.

I listened to the Aphrodite DAC well before it got too crowded. It's a good DAC and a good result.
The main thing that immediately caught my attention was the midrange, very open and rich in timbre.
Only moment there, it seems, were occasional wheezings on certain songs.

What is the stand below it in the video?

So the Warsaw Audio Show is history. AVS2025 is now THE LARGEST show on Earth. Amazing!
We were extremely pleased with the performance of the Aphrodite DAC. Filling this gigantic room (3200 sqft) with three dimensional sound.
I am now inside the plane heading for California.
Big thanks to Clarisys Audio for speakers, VAC for the smplification and Savid Laboga for phenomenal cabling.

Today was a good day as we had about 7 hours of listening but in between we found a few hours to make it into Laguna Beach where we had lunch on the sand and Lukasz had to take a dip and literally stripped down and hit the waves.

We did some very interesting A/B tests today with about 6 listeners. I'll defer comments until the group assembles tomorrow. There should be close to 30 attendees if everyone can make it so stay tuned

The crowd is assembling. Dinner with early guests one of whom made it all the way from Poland

The creator of APHRODITE surrounded by ocean waves?
Makes perfect sense.

By the way, gathering in such a group of thirty simply elevates the pleasure from this hobby. Enjoy!
