Recently added the Clear Beyond Phono interconnect and the biggest difference was in the sound stage. Everything opened up immediately and has continued to improve as I’ve gotten some hours on it. My experience is that it’s me that’s getting used to the change as well as the system settling in but, regardless, I’m very happy. I’m getting the TW Akustic RPS 100 to replace the Lilt and am going to swap out the Clear Reflection balanced cables between the phono pre and the pre to the Clear Beyond unbalanced as the RPS 100 is unbalanced out and I can’t resist putting the Clear Beyond into the chain.
Hi. The Clear Beyond phono cable from the tonearm is the only one I’ve used in my system. The upgrade was in the interconnect from the phono pre to the pre amp I went from the balanced Cardas Clear Reflection interconnect to the unbalanced Clear Beyond.
Go to Cardas for tech info but the sonic improvement was simply more clear. I did upgrade the phono pre to the RPS 100so there was an overall improvement. Much “blacker” in the quiet passages.

Also can’t say enough about the value of Cardas cables. Except for the speaker leads and the cable for the mono tone arm, I’m Cardas all the way through.
During the past year, I have been trying a number of Cardas cables—-Clear tonearm (DIN to RCA); Clear digital; Clear Beyond and Clear Beyond XL power cords, and a Reflection power cord. Those I own. I also tried Clear and Clear Beyond interconnects through the Cable Company.
All of the Cardas cables listed above have a smooth and detailed midrange. For me that is their biggest advantage. The XL power cord is especially nice; the clear Beyond power cord is a bit lightweight for my tastes and not quite as dynamic, but it is otherwise quite similar.
I didn’t like the Clear or Clear Beyond interconnects in my system. I preferred my regular Audio Note Sogon so the interconnects went back to the Cable Company.
