I wish these oligarchs would read about Andrew Carnegie. After he achieved the greatest fortune in the world at the time, by selling Carnegie steel for the equivalent of the 1901 US GDP, he set about to give away his entire fortune before he died. When it became obvious that Carnegie could not give away his entire fortune within his lifetime, he established the Carnegie Corporation of New York in 1911 "to promote the advancement and diffusion of knowledge and understanding" and continue his program of giving.

No super boats, now space joy rides, no private islands, etc.
