Great to hear! There is also an option to change the fuse in the power supply. I went for a SR Pink.I have the Mk.2 PS. Its very good, also I added a QSA red fuse to the powercord with fantastic results.
Are those the graphite audio footers? Which exact version?I have them currently running into a Puritan power filter and soon to be something different to try.
Here is a picture of how I have it isolated from vibration. Yes, I was completely surprised by how much of a difference in sound this made.

Hi Adam - Sorry I haven't had my iced coffee yet so my brain isn't working. Isn't your sentence completely contradictory?Unless one is using the exact same rack, IMO, no two surfaces of a particular material will sound the same. I'm simply looking for impressions on what folks have tested and settled on

Ahh. I agree. Thank you for clarifying.Sorry, that was a response I was typing to jasond above.
To clarify. No two wood surfaces respond similarly to footers. Same for metal, etc. therefore, the surface I'll be using footers on shouldn't preclude me from valuing feedback of footers used on other surfaces.
I'm willing to bet Rich or Rob will answer that question if you contacted them.Is the Tempus a custom PCB board design, or is it a repurposed commercial switch that has been modded to the nth degree?
There is no right or wrong answer, some of the most highly regarded switches (such as from Ansuz or Reiki) use a basic commercial switch as the base.
They monitor their forum threads (and their competitors threads) like hawks, so they can reply here.I'm willing to bet Rich or Rob will answer that question if you contacted them.
Think that is the best way to go tooI'm willing to bet Rich or Rob will answer that question if you contacted them.
This from Rob Osborn in response to a similar question I asked of him back in July. The other thing to ask NA, the only negative aesthetically is the mis matching boxes. The Tempus switch chassis is much nicer. But you now have the just released 'Origin' power supply - in the same style chassis as the Tempus.
So my question, is the Origin suitable to use with the Tempus, i.e is it an upgrade over the Tempus v2 power supply? Or perhaps its not specifically designed to work with the Tempus.
"I hope you’re keeping very well and to answer question, origin is based around the tempus PSU design, but it has an upgraded switched mode design in order to cope with the extra demands of routers, which generally need more current than a switch. Of course it also has an aluminium shielded chasis which makes a difference too. You could use it with tempus, but it is really designed to bring some NA magic to other devices you may using in the network chain. We use it with the ISP router in our systems where it provides the final piece of our systematic approach to removing the noise from the network. This might be something you want to consider as it has pretty profound effect with the ISP router. That said anything in your streaming chain that needs outboard DC power will benefit from using it."
