Shindo vs. Lamm compare?

The closest way to compare is to use/demo the GM70 version of both [same room, same source, same speakers, etc.] with the music you love. As you say "great brands", but you need to pick the dessert off the tray [stacks of $100s]. zz [familiar with Lamm, 300Bs & 2A3s].

My experience (and I'm offering nothing more than that) is that one set up including cabling, power devices, isolation devices and even sources and speakers, may optimize the sound of one set of electronics, but once you put in another set of electronics then to really hear the true capability of that component(s) you might have to alter "the recipe" to hear the performance ceiling of that particular set of electronics. I very seldom can just substitute one variable in "the equation" without recalibrating everything else, if in fact I am trying to optimize the overall performance of the system. Again, just my two cents.
