Baseball Season Is Coming To An End

And Barry Zito comes off the garbage heap and pitches well for them. Someone is looking down on them :)

IMO if Zito had lost that first game this series would be totally different. And BTW Myles Zito was probably their best pitcher in the closing month of the season so forget about the garbage heap. That's a place for guys like A-Rod. ;)

Actually they signed Zito for 7 years at 126 years? Plus a number of options.

Let's look at his record so far for the Giants:

2007 11-13 4.53
2008 10-17 5.15
2009 10-13 4.03
2010 9-14 4.15
2011 3-4 5.87
2012 15-8 4.15

And a WHIP high of 1.9

Even a Giant fan has to say that Zito was one of Sabian's worst signing. They happened to catch lightening in a bottle the last month with Zito.

Whatever you say about ARod, he certainly delivered much more for his contract than Zito did. How many times was Zito on the DL?

Did you mean Million?

In both previous series the Giants were facing elimination. Predicting the Giants would win is one thing. A sweep ? Nobody took that bet.
The Panda Bear is MVP. Offense amd defense.

say what you want Myles but A-Rod and his team mates are now planning on how to revamp the team whilst the Giants will be parading in SF ;)

While the Giants are now positioned take the Series, the Yankees are far from finished. IMHO, they will still have one of the best pitching staffs in the AL. (Their pitching was awesome in the playoffs, just the hitting was dreadful.)

I know.

Everyone like to dump on the Yanks. ;)

Most organizations should be run as well as the Yankees (as a few should look at the Giants too!).

What a way to win the WS for the Giants. Comeback kids in the last 2 series and a decisive sweep in the WS. I'm happy for the franchise. And I wish I was in downtown SF now just feeling the electricity in the streets.

I was at the last Giants parade. Wish I could be at the next one.

What a way to finish off a season. Very well deserved. Congratulations to the Giants and all their fans!
