Have travelled 3000km and finally unpacking the records phew!

I don't know about the rest of you, if saw that id be crestfallen...precious records in deformed boxes stacked three high, crushed corners - I hope they came through ok.

Companies like ULINE sell boxes in specially sized cubes to transport and/or store records. 12.5 x 12.5 x 12

That makes them well packed in the box and a reasonable weight for carrying.

Incredibly despite the dints so far so good ;)
Still unpacking ...

I buy the same boxes from U-Haul. They hold approximately 75 LP's if I remember correctly.

We used a lot of butchers paper to protect against the damage you see :( on the outside
More like 50 in each
But 75 if u pack tight
Glad we did given the state they arrived
Half unpacked aaaah !!!

Unpacked Phew!

Finished!!!!!!

Much thanks to my new wife Linh

Those are actually 12 x 12 x 12 and the jackets get squeezed into them--they are made for BOOKS.

That's not been my experience at all. They might be slightly different in Canada though. I assure you that no jacket gets squeezed in, and I've been using them for years.

In C-eh-N-eh-D-eh, they're Metric!
