Looks like I'm bound for Canada again for yet another International debut/launch of an ultra-high-end hi-fi product. This will be taking place at the Boutique Audio Gallery located just outside Toronto in King City.
I enjoy my treks to the Great White North, for the gear, the music, the company, the food and most importantly, Jason's Havanese pooches: Theo and Kerby.

This time around, it is for the ZELLATON Statement Ultra flagship speakers. The speakers on display are the very first pair to come out of production anywhere.

I really can't wait, I'll get to see folks I've personally invited from far-flung reaches of the world. This way, they get to hear the speakers and all the great gear on hand, and I get to catch up with them from
Did I mention food AND whisky? <GRIN>

These photos were taken right after their unboxing:

PS, I'll have better pictures when I'm up there with all my camera gear.

Look forward to your listening notes. All Aries Cerat I notice, with perhaps some Engstroms in the back?

The debut was a success. I ended up heading to Canada early and assisted Michael Schwab, Zellaton's CEO, and its designer with the setup of the speakers. It took a few days, but once the Statement Ultras were in place along a full complement of Schnerzinger cables and deflectors, the experience was as much for the eyes as for the ears. It did not hurt that the Boutique Audio Gallery located in King City, just outside of Toronto, is a bucolic wonderland and, unbeknownst to me, is "horse country" in Ontario. I am including photographs of the speakers, Michael Schwab, Boutique Audio Gallery and its surroundings.

The system was paired with the Zellaton Statement Ultras, was comprised SPEC Japan's preamplifier and mono-blocks, and IDEON's Streamer, DAC and Reclocker. It was a tough assignment, but the gear was up to the job. I could not tear myself away from the music, as the sound emanating from the system was clear, detailed, and distinct, paying appropriate homage to all of the recordings played.

My time spent with Michael Schwab was so enlightening. I learned more about Zellaton's history, philosophy and design approach than I could have learned anywhere else. If, like me, you value the artisanry of High-End Audio, it behooves you to explore the aforementioned to fully appreciate the product from the inside out.

Several individuals have messaged me about the Boutique Audio Gallery privately. The website is Boutique Audio Gallery, and both its physical address/location and contact information can be found there. If you're serious about high-end hi-fi gear, it is well worth a visit if you find yourself in the Greater Toronto area. I am now a regular, travelling up from Ohio, for the special events and whenever I need to recharge my "audiophile" cells. The shows serve a purpose, but don't allow me to indulge my high-end whims.

Thank you for this report, David!

Great thread, thanks for sharing. I live just outside of Toronto but on the other side, towards the south and I didn't know about this boutique store although I do know the general area.

Winter is coming so might need to head up there for a visit before it gets bad (forecast is not good this year).

I’ve been there and can wholeheartedly say that Jason, the owner, is a super nice, really sharp, great guy to work with. He’s fair and “gets” how the business of audio works. He also is doing this because of his genuine love for music and the components he sells, not because he has to — a big difference!
