You're being interviewed by the news from home. What's your backdrop?

We've all thought it. Watching some reporter - correspondent - panel member opining from home.
You've switched off from the conversation, far more interesting to look at the books on the shelf behind
And inevitably you wonder..what if it were you..would it be too much to have audio equipment in shot?
What about records?

So.
It's your turn.
What's your backdrop?

?

A blank wall. I’m not showing my stereo to every thief watching TV.

a pet or nothing.....especially a dog or cat. you cannot lose and likely would win.

who can hate someone with a pet?

animal abusers are more hated than murderers or rapists (or fox/cnn commentators depending on how you roll).

it's just how it is. people are all in on pet loving. a strong immediate bond with the vast majority of people.

Not going to happen for me I think but my wife conducts many virtual meetings for her consulting business and we have green screen software set up so we can add any type of background we want. We can even put up the WBF main page should some network come a calling.

Is she ever tempted to have the green screen show, say,
an oncoming train....
marauding zombies,
herds of dinosaurs......
the rapture?

The garden most probably. I'm usually ambushed in hallways though.

One of our cabinet ministers has been Zoomed w his bookshelf behind him...and a David Irving book has been spied.

Ouch!...The Bell Curve is on his shelf too. And Atlas Shrugged.

I'm sure there is gonna be a new "influencer" type job, one that could only come from the unholy amalgam of Covid and social media...Bookshelf Organiser For Zoom Interviews.

For him, that was the most expensive cup of coffee ever.
For us, priceless.
