Wow! That's some classic gear!
They don't even make gear like that anymore, not even in the highend category. Even if it were highend, I'd cost a bloody fortune!

One of those I can certainly relate to are the Quad ESL's. I had the 63's as well, way back in the day, driven by CJ Premier series amplifiers, it was marvellous! Those ESL63 series are long gone... and what's coming out of China is absolutely rubbish. Since those ESL63's, I've had the 989, 2905's and 2912's, all three had multiple panel failures and tranny failures. Absolute nightmare. Now I use ML CLX Art's, won't ever change these stats for anything else.

Having the 63's in US monitor version is fantastico! Enjoy those finest tunes.

Thank you. I forgot about my Entec L-F20 subwoofers so just added them to my post. In the late 80's - early 90's they were considered to provide the most seamless integration of any subwoofers used with Quad ESL-63's. Even some Wilson Watts owners preferred them to the Puppies subwoofers.

I have enjoyed this equipment for all these years, and in recent years have finally gotten into digital with the purchase of new DAC and streamer. I have never owned a CD player so the move to DAC and streamer has been a first step into the digital pond
