Hi all, I am new to this forum and have been attempting, unsuccessfully so far, to locate a dealer where I could go and audition some of the most recent model LaScalas and Khorns. I live in the central VA area and there are no dealers near me that carry these speakers nor do they have any set up for auditioning. Perfectly willing to visit NOVA, Richmond, Raleigh/Durham area to accomplish this. Anything much further afield could be arranged but I would prefer not to have to go that extreme. Failing finding a dealer that has these speakers, is there anyone who lives within the area of these places that owns a pair of these speakers and would entertain giving me an in-home audition? I just cannot justify throwing down the money on a pair of these without an audition first.

I think your best bet are the two dealers in Richmond that list the heritage line on the Klipsch website dealer finder. I would call them to verify what they have available to demo even though the dealer finder lists the two models you are interested in. There are no Klipsch heritage line dealers in NC that I know of but Audio Advice demoed the LaScala AL6 at their recent show in Raleigh. I bought a pair of used Forte IV earlier this year to try out a 300B SET amp. Hope this helps. BTW I am just south of Danville VA

I am considering the Forte 4 for the 2 rear channels and what I really want I think is a LaScala center channel...but they only seem to be available in pairs so I dont know how I would make that happen. My wife and I get down to NC occasionally for doctors appointments and occasional costco trips. It would be nice to find a dealer down there due to generally better roads and better managed traffic. The AL6 looks like a good bet though it does take a lot of floor space compared to other choices. I have read some glowing reviews of the LaScalas would love to sample them as well as the new Khorns. The Heresy I think has enough glaring faults to not be in contention for either rear channel or center channel duty again this is based on reviews and mostly vague information concerning how they measure...
