What kind of tweeter are you?

Different day different flavor is the truth for me. My KEFs have soft domes, my Magneplanars have ribbons, and my old RCA LC-1As have the best paper cone tweeters I have ever heard. Each one has merits and flaws. All of them produce music, though.

All this business really is about flavors. I must admit the TAD speakers with beryllium tweeters really do it for me, though. I just don't own them...yet. Then again, some Western Electric horns are to die for! :)

Currently ribbons or a ring, depending on Xover implementation, of course. Sadly it doesn't take much to be an ear-bleeder to me. Too often after a few minutes I'm done.

Ribbon. I just sold my Accentus, and so that I don't miss the G1's that went with them - I got myself a pair of Aurum Cantus G1's tweeters... now I have to figure out how I can properly integrate them with my Von Schweikert VR5 Anniversaries to bring the sound closer to the VR9's.

If it's not measured in square feet, it's to small for me ;)

My 'tweeters' are MartinLogan Electrostats. Monoliths in front, Sequel/SL3 for center and surrounds.

PS- those are 6' tall across the front.
