About Turnbull Audio
Turnbull Audio launched in 2024 but we’re not new. We started generating our first conductor prototypes over 10 years ago, culminating in our current product line called the Prestige collection. Our mantra is “Power Refined” as that defines our approach to signal purity. Our goal is simple - use the most effective materials to mitigate the issues caused by various types of noise to bring enhanced emotional connection with your music.
The Pursuit of Excellence
At Turnbull Audio we believe that music is the most primal expression, using sound as the universal language of emotion. The primary purpose of any music system is to preserve the original intention of the artist with the utmost respect and care. Turnbull Audio uses four core technologies to enhance signal purity to preserve that artist’s original intent. We believe, though, that there should be no character, no fingerprint, no DNA, no artifact of any kind to distinctly identify the refiner. True refinement leaves no mark.
Our Technologies
99.999% pure solid core copper - We utilize PCVCC - pure copper by vacuum continuous casting - that is triple annealed and polished to preserve uniform and uninterrupted signal flow.
Field Obfuscation - Turnbull Audio has developed a proprietary particulate blend that obfuscates - or shields - against noise-related issues across the entire EMI spectrum. This shielding is so comprehensive, in fact, that even x-rays can’t penetrate through the cable!
Constrained Layer Damping - Turnbull Audio also uses custom-developed, multi-layer dielectric assemblies to control vibration. While the number and geometry vary and are application dependent, Constrained Layer Damping is a key innovation that is used in all Prestige collection products.
Noise-Resistant Geometry - Bringing it all together, Turnbull Audio employs a unique orientation to further reject and eliminate EMI noise both inside and outside of the conductor.
Lasting Performance
From the coating durability of the transition pieces to the termination processes themselves, all Turnbull Audio products are designed to perform at the highest possible level. Each parameter of the connector and the transition pieces is designed to enhance electrical signal transfer through resonance control and solid connections. We also take great care that every connection of every material held within is secured robustly, maintaining the integrity of every aspect of the cable for years to come.
