If the first couple of watts of an amplifier sound bad then there is no need to the rest 100+ watts. I’m not the first one says that.
IMHO there are good sounding amplifiers and bad sounding amplifiers. It’s not about power cause power doesn’t bring good sound.
I don’t have enough experience with either of those amplifiers to make a comment.
